Robert P. Badavas, President and Chief Executive Officer

As President and Chief Executive Officer, Bob is responsible for all North American  and emerging Asian operations including  sales, marketing, finance, control, corporate development, and information systems.

Bob has more than 20 years of executive experience spanning technology, venture capital, and business services. He has served in various capacities including CEO, COO, CFO, and other operating executive management roles.

A noted business strategist with particular strengths in sound financial practices and sustained corporate growth, he has extensive experience in guiding companies through all stages of development. Start-ups and mature companies alike have benefited from his expertise and commitment.

Under Bob's leadership, TAC Worldwide operates with a vision of "total technology workforce solutions"— answering the need for IT and engineering contingent and direct-hire job seekers and services that support the corporate human capital supply chain from North America to Asia Pacific.

As clients look to expand their sphere of influence and maximize revenues globally, Bob sees TAC Worldwide's role as the company best equipped to assist them throughout the workforce life cycle. He advises clients on how to optimize success in the business management continuum, from planning and acquisition, to job seekers optimization.

Prior to joining TAC Worldwide, Bob's executive level positions included Senior Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Atlas Venture, a $2+ billion international venture capital firm, Chief Executive Officer of Cerulean Technology, a wireless application software company acquired by Aether Systems in September, 2000, and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Chipcom Corporation, a network computing company that he helped to bring public (acquired by 3Com: NASDAQ: COMS in 1995).

He began his career in auditing at Price Waterhouse in Boston.

Bob serves on the Board of Directors of Hercules Technology Growth Capital, a publicly traded (NASDAQ:HTGC) business development corporation providing structure financing to venture-backed technology and life science companies. In addition, he serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Learning Center for The Deaf, Framingham, MA, and as a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of Hellenic College/Holy Cross School of Theology, Brookline, MA.
